Neymar's move to Barcelona is still causing the club a huge headache. According to 'Catalunya Radio', far from just fading away, the saga has now taken a new twist. A Barcelona judge has upheld the ruling made in Madrid, which means that Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell have now been formally charged for their part in 'Neymar-gate'.
According to the radio station, the court in Barcelona has asked the club, its president, Bartomeu, and its former president, Rosell, to provide a written defence of their roles in Neymar's transfer.
In doing so, the Barcelona court has taken another step towards resolving the Brazilian's transfer in court. It had been thought that moving the case to the Catalan capital would be the end of it, but that has not been the case. They now have 20 days to present that written defence to the judge.
